Empowering the Front Line with Refined TWI — 2025 New Team-Leader Training Concludes

“TWI Front-Line Supervisory Management Skills” training

In recent years, with the company’s rapid growth, the manufacturing team has faced unprecedented challenges. The team (work group) is the smallest operational unit of the enterprise, carrying the core mission of production breakthroughs, quality control, and benefit conversion, while the team leader is the commander of this “front-line position.”

By focusing on forging team-leader capability, the program systematically enhances the four key competencies of front-line units: Job Instruction (JI), Job Methods (JM), Job Relations (JR), and Job Safety (JS).

Starting in 2024, the company introduced the “TWI Front-Line Supervisory Management Skills” training. Production managers demonstrated stronger professionalism, efficiently helping new employees integrate into their roles and actively driving production-process optimization.

In 2025, with more team leaders joining, the company deepened TWI training further. On March 27–28, 2025, it convened over 80 newly promoted team leaders for a two-day “TWI Front-Line Supervisory Capability Enhancement Boot Camp.”

The 2025 Boot Camp

This boot camp invited renowned practical production-management experts from leading automakers to teach. Through case analysis, simulated hands-on practice, and group discussions, it helped team leaders grow rapidly.

In content, the training continued the classic TWI system—Job Instruction (JI), Job Safety (JS), Job Relations (JR), and Job Methods (JM)—while optimizing and upgrading it to the company’s actual needs, selecting real production-line cases for analysis.

During the course, trainees actively engaged in interaction, discussion, and sharing, carefully recording key points of standardized work breakdowns; groups enthusiastically discussed improvement plans, and instructors provided one-on-one guidance on operational details.
