LIGOO Selected into 2025 Automotive New-Quality-Productivity Excellence Cases

Recently, the 2025 Automotive New-Quality-Productivity Development Forum, hosted by China Certification & Inspection Group and Xinhua News Agency’s China Economic Information Service, was held in Chongqing. Under the theme “Developing New-Quality Productivity · Leading the Automotive New Future,” the forum brought together industry leaders and experts to discuss pathways for automotive industry transformation.

Excellence Case Recognition

Among the “2025 Automotive New-Quality-Productivity Excellence Cases” released at the forum, LIGOO’s entry “Reconstructing the Safety Underlying Logic of NEV Battery Management Systems with New-Quality Productivity” was successfully selected as an “Energy-Technology Excellence Case,” contributing to the development of new-quality productivity in the automotive industry through advanced battery-management technology.

The 2025 Automotive New-Quality-Productivity Excellence Case collection was jointly initiated by China Economic Information Service and China Automotive Technology and Research Center, aiming to uncover and promote exemplary cases that reflect the trends of technological transformation in the automotive industry and the core essence of new-quality productivity, and to distill replicable, scalable experience models. The selected cases represent the highest practical level of new-quality-productivity development in the automotive industry.

With the flourishing development of the NEV industry, battery safety has become a key element of high-quality industry development.

Reconstructing the Safety Baseline

As China’s largest professional BMS supplier, LIGOO acts as a “technology barrier-breaker,” restructuring the industry’s safety baseline through technological innovation. It has built a closed-loop system of “precise perception – active defense – intelligent decision-making,” achieving vertical integration of the full value chain of “chip – algorithm – data – scenario.” It controls SOC (State of Charge) estimation error within 2%, extends safety early-warning lead time beyond 30 days, and achieves a detection precision above 90%, reaching internationally leading levels. As a participating drafter of three national standards including GB/T 34590 and a national “little giant” specialized and innovative enterprise, the company has infused its ASIL D functional-safety process-certification experience into industry norms, defining a new safety benchmark.

Through the deep integration of functional safety, information security, and AI technologies, LIGOO’s battery management system forges the “strongest brain” of power batteries, writing a new-quality-productivity exemplar of Chinese intelligent manufacturing and building a full-lifecycle safety protection system for power batteries, opening a new paradigm for NEV safety management.

Capacity & Global Manufacturing

Meanwhile, the company continues to push forward on capacity upgrades and business expansion. To date, LIGOO has built a modern manufacturing center covering 54 mu (approx. 36,000 m²), with an annual production capacity of 6 million units, and—relying on its self-developed digital manufacturing platform—has achieved full-process intelligent upgrading from production to management.
