From May 23 to 25, the 2025 International Solar Energy Meet (ISEM) was grandly held at the Lahore International Expo Center in Pakistan. LIGOO showcased its newly upgraded storage products including PULSE S2/S3 and FlexCube at Booth 100–103, Hall 02, sharing innovative storage technologies and efficient solutions with global customers and supporting the high-quality development of South Asia’s new-energy industry.
Pakistan’s Energy Transition
Pakistan has long faced power shortages, while its domestic oil and gas resources are scarce and imported energy entails huge costs, making energy transition an urgent imperative. In recent years, the Pakistani government has attached great importance to renewable-energy development and utilization, successively issuing policy documents such as the “Renewable Energy Development Policy” and the “Integrated Energy Plan” to drive the rapid growth of solar and other renewable industries.
According to a plan jointly formulated by the World Bank and the Pakistani government, Pakistan’s cumulative PV installed capacity is expected to exceed 12.8 GW by 2030 and potentially rise further to 26.9 GW by 2047, indicating immense potential for new energy and storage.
